Poros to Host East Med Yacht Show 2020

The East Med Yacht Show 2020, a prime yachting event held annually in Greece, will take place at the port of Poros during September 18-20, the Hellenic Professional Yacht Owners Association (HPYOA) announced on Tuesday.
The event was originally scheduled to take place in Piraeus during May 8-11, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The island will be hosting the event for the next three years (2021-23) following a Memorandum of Understanding recently signed between HPYOA and the Municipality of Poros.
“The East Med Yacht Show 2020 aims to promote, stimulate and develop quality maritime tourism, a competitive advantage of the Greek economy,” HPYOA said.
The show will include a yacht exhibition that features manned motor yachts, sailing yachts, catamarans and bareboats, as well as pavilions of Greek yacht charter companies and providers of maritime tourism services.
