A newly-created photography business has been launched in Greece to help hoteliers get their message out to the world through images that will make a difference.

Named Visual Storyteller and created by Greek worldwide hotel photographer Stavros Habakis, the new company aims to add value to hotels and travel destinations through images and attract more hotel reservations.

Habakis decided to create Visual Storyteller after seeing the hospitality market’s need for quality photography and images that would really catch the attention of holidaymakers.

“Through my photos, I discover, present and explain the corporate identity of hotels to website visitors,” Habakis says.

An award-winning hotel and resort photographer, with many years of studies and experience in theater, Habakis tends to create emotions through his images and give website visitors a glimpse of the travel experience they could live.

Through his images, Habakis aims to convert hotel website visitors into hotel customers.

Visual Storyteller provides complete services to its partner hotels thanks to Habakis and his team of stylists, costume designers, cameramen, make-up artists and models.

The Greek photographer has collaborated with the largest hotel names in the country, including Sani, Costa Navarino, Ikos, Electra, Kensho, Elounda Peninsula, Euphoria, Cooks Club and Ammos, but also leading international hospitality brands such as Starwood, Leading Hotels, Marriot, Design Hotels and Small Luxury Hotels. His photos have been published in renowned international publications (New York Times, Observer, Geo) and have kicked off various advertising campaigns.

Greece, with its beautiful landscapes and very special hotels, was the springboard for Habakis and Visual Storyteller to show the range of his skills and experience, from covering the smallest architectural details of a unit, to capturing its whole gastronomy experience in photos.

Habakis’ services also include underwater photography.

“My professional approach through structured questionnaires and the creation of a detailed photography plan (storyboard) as well as an analysis of necessities for all sections of a hotel, allows nothing to be left to chance and therefore resulting to a successful outcome,” Habakis said.
