Greece in January-August welcomed over 8.6 million inbound travelers, a 79.2 percent rise over the first eight months of 2020, the Bank of Greece (BoG) said on Friday.

In greater detail, receipts from euro area residents rose by 134.6 percent to over 3.4 billion euros, while receipts from residents of non-euro area EU27 countries increased by 198.3 percent to 979 million euros.
